1.0.1 beta.7 – smooth big queues, tidier name

The Queue stays smooth now even with hundreds of tracks – it loads small thumbnails, drops an expensive placeholder, and only redraws the rows that actually change.
hiljaa now installs as “hiljaa” (it used to land as “LullPlayer” behind the scenes). Your key, settings and downloads carry over untouched.

The big one: starting a track and skipping to the next now take a couple of seconds instead of ~9. hiljaa fetches a lean, stable yt-dlp runtime once in the background, instead of the slow self-unpacking build macOS re-scanned on every single run.
A stalled connection can no longer hang a track forever – extraction now gives up and moves on.
The sleep timer measures listening time: it freezes while paused instead of counting down and cutting you off early.
Groundwork for over-the-air updates, so many future fixes can arrive without a full re-download.

Repeat-one now actually loops the track instead of quietly stopping at the end.
A dead or expired link no longer stalls the queue – hiljaa skips past it and keeps going, and a run of failures shows an honest banner instead of spinning in the background.
Cancelling a download is just a cancel now, with no phantom error, and a finished download is recognised whatever audio format it arrived in.
The waveform keeps moving through quiet passages instead of freezing, and an odd file path or link no longer leaves the app stuck “resolving”.
The self-updating YouTube support is more resilient to site changes, so playback keeps working without waiting for an app update.

Advancing to the next track is gapless: hiljaa quietly pre-loads what’s coming so it starts the instant the current one ends.
Loading a channel or playlist is faster and more resilient – it begins playing from the first tracks while the rest fills in behind, so a long channel no longer makes you wait.

The app became hiljaa (it started life as “Lull”). Unlock keys moved to the HILJAA1… format, and everything found its own home on alxh.al – the download, licensing and the site.
A clean, self-contained build, with a backup mirror so updates keep flowing even if one host has a wobble.

The very first private builds. Fixed an early launch crash caused by a bundled-library path, and added the one-time “right-click → Open” (quarantine) step so the unsigned beta opens cleanly.
